Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). Notice the word every — and notice He compares Scripture to bread: daily nourishment, not an occasional feast.
First, Scripture renews your mind. The world disciples you all day through news, feeds, and noise. God’s Word re-disciples you in minutes.
Second, Scripture arms you for battle. Every temptation Jesus faced, He answered with “it is written.” A verse in your heart is a sword in your hand.
Third, Scripture reveals His heart. The Bible is not ultimately a rulebook — it is a love letter. Read it daily, and you’ll find the Author.
