Five times in one verse God says, in effect, “I am with you and I will act.” Fear looks at the problem; faith looks at the Promise-Keeper. Notice He does not say you will feel strong — He says He will strengthen you. His presence is the answer to your fear, and His righteous right hand is stronger than whatever hand is raised against you today.
Strength for Today
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Almighty God, when fear rises, remind me that You are with me. Strengthen me, help me, and uphold me today. Amen.
